The security of our members and their information is our primary concern at GHS.  We are always looking for ways to both enhance your relationship with GHS as well as improve security.  As a result, we have implemented new security features for Online Banking and Mobile Banking. These features include new password requirements and a new username requirement.

Members logging in to their Online Banking account after April 1, 2014 will be prompted to create a new username and password if they have not already. Members using the GHS Mobile Banking app on their iPhone or Android device after April 1 will need to log into their Online Banking account to update their credentials before they will be able to log into the Mobile Banking app.

Username and password requirements are as follows:

Usernames must be at least 5 characters in length and must contain at least one letter and one number.

Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length and must contain at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one number and one of the following special characters:  ! # & * ?

Please login to Online Banking account to configure your new username and password for use with Online Banking and Mobile Banking.

Q. What should I do if I have difficulty registering for online banking?
A. GHS has set up a hot-line telephone number; it's 607-723-7962 or toll-free 800-732-4447 ext. 1811. Please call and a representative will help you through the process.

Q. Do I need a new computer or software to use the GHS sign-on for Online Banking?
A. The sign-on does NOT require any changes to your computer.

Q. Why do I need to answer three security questions? A. Each time you sign-on, you will be asked one of the questions. It's an additional way to confirm the identity of the person signing on.

Q. What does the security word you asked me to enter do? A. This word or "text" will be displayed each time you sign-on. Always make sure the "text" displayed is exactly what you had entered when you registered. This will help assure you that you are at the GHS site.
